Events, Talks and More: CCC is there!
CCC’s Executive Director, Kathy Matusiak Costa, presents to crowd of youth from across Canada in Ottawa.
Compassionate Community Care (CCC) has been proud to attend a variety of talks, community events, and networking opportunities, building meaningful connections and raising awareness about the importance of compassionate care to those who are most vulnerable: the elderly, depressed, isolated, and those who who have no one. Across Canada, Compassionate Community Care (CCC) builds networks of dedicated volunteers who serve their own neighbourhoods by offering friendship, companionship, and compassionate support to individuals living with chronic conditions, experiencing loneliness or despair, or approaching the end of life.
We are always grateful for the opportunity to share our mission and encourage our partners, supporters, and community members to help spread the word about the work CCC is doing in communities across Canada. Contact us at info@beingwith.org to schedule a talk or presentation in your town or community group today.
Compassionate Community Care was delighted to welcome Aleya, a student from a local high school in Milton and a friend of the organization. Aleya recently joined the CCC team at a local community information table, where she connected with visitors, shared information about our programs and services, and helped raise awareness of the support CCC provides throughout the community.
We are grateful for Aleya's enthusiasm and willingness to give back. Students like her play an important role in helping us connect with our community and share our mission of compassionate care.
From sharing information at events about our resources, helpline, and mission, to giving training sessions to committed members of neighbourhood groups and faith communities across Canada, CCC is committed to developing strong networks of people who offer companionship, care, and real support to those who need it most.
